Email Archiver Plug in Disappearing in Outlook 2013 and 2016
So you installed the Archiver plug in for Outlook:
But then, one day, it isn't there.
The most common cause for the plug in to disappear is because Outlook decided it was taking too much time to start. In its wisdom it decided that speed of start up was more important than your productivity tools. To fix this, select File.
Then select “Manage Add-Ins”
There you may see the plug in has been disabled. Click on the “Always enable this add-in” to stop Outlook from disabling the plug in due to slow starting.
If that is not the problem, then check if the plug in is not enabled in the plug in options. To reach that screen, select Files (like above) then select Options.
Click on Add-Ins.
The following screen pops up.
You can see the plug in listed under Inactive Application Add-Ins (1).
Click on GO (2) to manage the add ins.
Click the unchecked box next to the plug in (1) and hit OK (2), and the plug in should be available on your Outlook.
NOTE: The plug in on this screen is called “Email Archiver”. It could also be called “RazorSafe” or “DataCove” depending on the OEM.
